State Guidance for Implementation of the Treatment for Infants with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome in Residential Pediatric Recovery Centers (SUPPORT Act)

The 2018 SUPPORT Act passed by Congress directed the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to create a new provider type in Medicaid of “residential pediatric recovery centers” (RPRCs) which treat infants with neonatal opiate withdrawal/neonatal abstinence syndrome.
