This resource links to 2 free trainings on Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) interventions for dental and healthcare providers offered by HealthEKnowledge. The first training is specifically for dental school students to satisfy the requirement of the Commission on Dental Accreditation that dental students be trained in SBIRT and substance use disorder (SUD) management. The second training is for physical and behavioral health professionals and provides a 3.5 hour self-paced course on implementing SBIRT in their practices.
