Deans and curriculum representatives from all 18 schools educating health care providers in Arizona came together to develop a new curriculum on pain and addiction. The curriculum seeks to “redefine pain and addiction as multidimensional, interrelated public health issues that require the transformation of care toward a whole-person inter-professional approach with a community and systems perspective.” The curriculum is non-proprietary and available for use in any health education program.
