This 2016 study asked patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain, primary care providers, and providers of acupuncture and chiropractic services about their experiences treating chronic pain, and their views of acupuncture and chiropractic care for treating pain. The study also looked at barriers to patients accessing alternative pain treatments such acupuncture and chiropractic services.
