The Arizona Department of Health Services prepared a 2017 review of opioid related policies in all 50 states to assist decision makers in evaluating what additional programmatic and policy actions they might want to adopt. This appendix to the report describes state approaches to declaring emergency powers to address the opioid epidemic.
