Rigo never thought that he could become addicted, but after an opioid prescription, it did happen to him. This video addresses the stigma around addiction and encourages patients and caregivers to understand the risks of prescription opioids. Produced by the National Safety Council in 2017, the video encourages patients to put a sticker on their insurance card asking to be warned about opioid prescriptions.
