Search Tips

Search Instructions

  • To begin a search, enter the word or phrase in the search page located on the top of each page and click the magnifying glass to submit.
  • Search results will appear with any evidence ranked resources and/or featured collections appearing at the top of the results. Additional resources are prioritized based of relevancy to the search.
  • To further filter your search results, there are options to filter by audience, resource type, evidence ranking, and topics of high interest. Note that the topics are grouped together by categories: Community & Political Engagement, Education & Support, Health Care & Treatment, and Special Populations.
  • Once filtering field(s) are selected, resubmit the search by hitting the new blue search button appearing in the filters column.
  • Each resource page includes sections for linked tags and related resources. By clicking on a tag, a new search page will display, featuring results of all resources that share the tag. Clicking on a related resources links directly to specific resources associated with the resource.

Policymakers and community leaders play an important role in addressing opioids in our communities. This page highlights the most recently added resources specifically targeting elected and appointed government officials and staff members, members of the law enforcement community and first responders, and employees and volunteers of organizations. These resources, identified with orange tiles, include policy roadmaps, implementation guides, toolkits, education materials, sample legislation and other materials that can help you design and implement effective programs to prevent and address the consequences of opioid crisis.
