The Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network (ATTC Network) is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to promote the use of innovative best practices in addiction treatment and recovery services. Created in 1993, the ATTC Network operates 10 U.S.-based centers, 2 national focus area centers, and a network coordinating office. The centers serve all 50 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories. The ATTC Network mission is to accelerate the adoption and implementation of evidence-based and promising addiction treatment and recovery-oriented services, improve workforce knowledge and skills around addiction treatment and recovery, and build alliances among individuals and groups working on addiction and recovery issues. ATTCs provide consulting services, technical assistance, and continuing education for individuals and organizations in their regions or special populations.
