Operation New Hope is a model program that provides support, life and job skills training for citizens returning to the community after incarceration in the state of Florida. Operation New Hope operates 2 programs:

  1. Ready4Release: delivers pre-release services to individuals in 17 correctional facilities in Florida. Services include consultation with experienced case managers who help create individualized release plans to smooth transition to the community and assistance with housing, transportation, and job training.
  2. Ready4Work: provides case management, supportive services, job training and job placement assistance to citizens returning to incarceration. Participants are required to remain drug free during their participation in the program, which includes vocational training and financial support throughout the program.

Operation New Hope leverages strategic partnerships with the judicial system, local businesses, faith-based organizations, and community partners to deliver its programs. The program has been praised as a model by the last 4 White House administrations as well as many federal, state and local policymakers and community leaders.
