Ohio Addiction Policy Inventory and Scorecard

This 2019 report evaluates the state of Ohio’s efforts to adopt evidence-based practices to address addiction in the law enforcement and criminal justice systems. The report reviews state-level policy changes enacted in Ohio from 2013 to 2018 and includes a scorecard that measures the extent to which Ohio is implementing evidence-based strategies. The report also presents data showing racial inequities in the justice system in Ohio and nationwide, and includes a discussion of the strengths and challenges in Ohio’s policy response,
