Arizona Parents, Youth, Community 360Rx Overview

This fact sheet briefly explains the 360Rx community education initiative adopted in Arizona. The Parents 360Rx program provides an hour long presentation for parents, grandparents, and caregivers to educate them about prescription drug misuse and how parents can help their children learn to turn down offers to try drugs. The 360Rx program also has specific educational programming for middle school students, high school students, Spanish speaking audiences, older adults, and general presentation format designed to address the community at large. Arizona’s Rethink Rx Abuse initiative provides training for the 360Rx program and helps communities host events in their communities. The 360Rx progam was developed by the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids.
